About Jordan
I’m Jordan Daugherty, Miss Rodeo K-State 2024. I grew up moving around as a military BRAT with my parents, Eryn and Aaron Freese with my three siblings, originally from Alexandria, Virginia. I received my Bachelors in Biology at Iowa State in 2022 and am now a current second year vet student at Kansas State. I grew up riding English, volunteering at a therapeutic riding program, and started rodeo in high school. I have been a NIRA member since 2019, and am still competing with the KSU team in the breakaway and barrel racing during my vet school career. I have received the honor of signing a contract with the Health Profession Scholarship Program of the United States Army and will be an active duty solider following graduation. I am honored to have the opportunity to pursue both my passion of Veterinary Medicine and protecting our country as my career. My role will involve practicing on civilian pets, protecting public health, leading a unit, and caring for military animals.
